The Sound the Alarm program by the Red Cross will be given a big pushoff drive on Saturday, May 5, when there will be countywide training and installation. Marseilles Rotary Club is co-sponsoring. There will be some training on Saturday, April 28. Marseilles residents interested in receiving a free smoke detector should go to the Marseilles city or fire department websites or call the non-emergency number for the fire department.
