LA SALLE COUNTY

Brandi Rideout, 23, La Salle, was arrested at 1:06 a.m. Thursday at 3020 E. Eighth Road, Utica, on complaints of DUI of drugs, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, resisting and obstructing a peace officer, improper lane usage, driver's license not on person and disobeying a stop sign. Police were called for a vehicle that had been driven into a ditch. Rideout was taken to La Salle County Jail. No injuries were reported.

Corina K. Hardin, 47, Streator, was arrested at 1:29 a.m. Thursday at 2700 N. 2553rd Road following a single-vehicle, rollover crash, on complaints of DUI, improper lane usage, driving in the wrong lane, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Hardin was taken to OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa by Seneca Ambulance. Hardin was given an individual bond and released with a court date.

Bradley Guelde, 51, rural Ottawa, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. Thursday at his U.S. 6 residence on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of criminal damage to property. Guelde was taken to La Salle County Jail.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on a La Salle County custodial warrant for a probation violation. The boy was taken to the La Salle County Detention Home.

Keonitae Collins, 23, Montgomery, Ala., was arrested at 9:38 p.m. Thursday on Route 23 in Daytown Township on complaints of driving while license suspended. Collins was taken to the La Salle County Jail.

OTTAWA

Benjamin R. Akre, 36, Newark, was arrested Thursday in the 300 block of West Stevenson Road on a complaint of driving while license suspended. He posted an individual bond.

Bradley M. Zellers, 37, Ottawa, was arrested Thursday on Interstate 80 on complaints of DUI, disobeying a traffic control device, failure to signal when required, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no driver's license. Zellers posted $300 bond.

STREATOR

Maria Telez-Tapia, 28, Streator, was arrested at 2:23 p.m. Thursday at North Bloomington and West Elm streets on a complaint of driving while license suspended. She was given a notice to appear in county court.

Police received four reports Thursday of someone entering unlocked vehicles. In the 700 block of Glass Street and the 100 block of West Grant Street, items were reported stolen from vehicles; in the 600 block of Boys Street and the 300 block of South Park Street complainants said their vehicle had been entered, but nothing appeared to be stolen.

FIRE CALLS

Streator firefighters responded at 8:06 a.m. Friday for an odor investigation at 409 N. Shabbona St. Nothing unusual was found.

Streator firefighters responded at 8:27 a.m. Thursday for an odor investigation at 1107 E. Hickory St. Nothing unusual was found.

Streator firefighters extinguished an illegal burn at 5:15 a.m. Thursday at 603 N. Park St.

Streator firefighters responded at 12:38 a.m. Thursday to arcing power lines in the 100 block of Iowa Avenue. Firefighters stayed on scene until ComEd arrived.

Ottawa firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire at 9:35 p.m. Thursday at 301 E. McKinley Road.
