NEUFELD: Weapon of choice doesn't matter

To the Editor:

So now our country has bombed Syria because they used chemical weapons on their own people. Somehow we’re supposed to feel good about this, because we “only” used missiles, bombs and bullets, and these don’t really kill people as “badly” as chemical weapons do. Huh?

If people are killed with more “traditional” weapons, they’re just as dead as with any other method, right?  Dead is dead, and it doesn’t matter how you get there. But we’re supposed to somehow think our way is more “humane” and thus justified?

Of course, Donald Trump is narcissistic and delusional, and he can use this incident to make himself feel like a “hero.”
