Praying for but doubting Trump

To the Editor:

Now that “emperor” Trump has started his “sympathy” tour for those who have lost loved ones to violence, will he next parade on stage the mothers and fathers who have had to bury their children due to the school massacres?

I doubt it, because he’d have to get permission from the NRA, which in all reality is calling the shots (no pun intended) in this country. I feel for all those who have been affected by violence from illegal immigrants, but let’s not forget those who’ve had their lives turned upside down because of “home-grown” offenders. I pray for guidance and wisdom for Mr. Trump daily, but find it hard to believe that basically a “cartoon character” who believes that everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but his is the only one that counts, is going to lead this country and world in a positive direction.
