Trial was reset Monday for an Iowa man charged with killing an Ottawa man last summer.

Trial had been slated for June 21, but that date was canceled. On Monday, trial was reset to Tuesday, Sept. 4. Shannon has opted to have Chief Judge H. Chris Ryan Jr., rather than a jury, decide guilt or innocence.
