Angelo Dominguez, 29, Lostant, was cited at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the police station on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of driving while license suspended. He was given a court date.

A report was received Tuesday a male stole a donation jar July 29 from a counter at Circle K East, 920 E. Main St.

A report was made Tuesday at the police station a gun was stolen between Aug. 1 and Aug. 6 from a vehicle.

A bottle of alcohol was stolen at about 6:50 p.m. Tuesday from Streator Drugs, 109 E. Main St., according to a report made minutes later.

Police responded at 9:39 p.m. Tuesday to the 500 block of South Fifth Avenue for a report of suspicious noises. They were not able to find anything.

Police responded at 5:16 a.m. Wednesday to Boys and Van Buren streets for a report of a possible burglary to a vehicle. Police did not find anyone suspicious in the area.

A report was made July 23 a home was burglarized at Liberty Village, 2300 Eastwood Ave.

Fire Calls

Streator firefighters responded at 12:27 p.m. Tuesday for a fire alarm at 405 W. Chicago St. They found the alarm system malfunctioned.

Streator firefighters responded at 3:49 p.m. Tuesday for a smoke alarm at 107 La Salle St. They found the detector was faulty and replaced it.

At 9:54 p.m. Tuesday, Streator firefighters responded to 609 N. Everett St. for a smoke alarm. They found the detector was faulty.
