ANCONA — Harold Wm. Holz, 77, of Ancona, passed away Saturday afternoon, Oct. 6, at Good Samaritan Home in Pontiac.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Bill Callister officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Don, Donnie, Dusty and Dave Miller, Ken Hamann and Marion Johnson. Winterrowd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Harold was born Jan. 8, 1941, in Streator, to Herbert and Minnie (Kutter) Holz.
Surviving is a son, Shane Rhodes, of La Salle; his twin brother, Herbert (Helen) Holz, of Ancona; sisters, Marge Shaw, of Washington and Phyllis Lester, of Hartselle, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Leona Fargher and Norma Ott.
Harold graduated from Woodland High School in 1959. He retired from Owens-Illinois Glass and farming and trucking in the Ancona area.
He was a member of Livingston County Farm Bureau and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
