Jeffrey I. Faint Jr., 23, Joliet, was cited Tuesday in the 1100 block of Columbus Street on complaints of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. Faint was released on a $150 bond.
A report was received Wednesday afternoon electronics were stolen from an unlocked apartment in the 400 block of North Jefferson Street. The theft occurred between 5:50 a.m. Tuesday and 12:17 p.m. Wednesday.

A report was received early Thursday morning a burglar stole a knife from an apartment in the 300 block of South Park Street. The burglary occurred between noon and 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Streator firefighters responded at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to 904 Sundown St. for a phone line in the roadway. It appeared the phone line was pulled from the house. The carrier was notified and the line was removed from the road.
