Amber Parkins, 31, Ottawa, was arrested Thursday in the 2700 block of Columbus Street on a failure to appear warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Parkins was taken to the county jail.
Alyssa B. Gallacher, 25, Ottawa was cited Thursday at Columbus and Madison streets on complaints of driving while license suspended, operating a vehicle with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Gallacher was released on I-bond.
Ansit A. Cruz-Martinez, 32, Streator, was cited Thursday at Norris Drive and Canal Street on complaints of driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal when required. Cruz-Martinez was released on I-bond.
Streator police responded at 8:19 a.m. Thursday to the 400 block of Indiana Avenue for a complaint of fraudulent activity on a credit card.
La Salle County
County deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at 4:20 p.m. Thursday with one requiring treatment. Myrtle Delay, 87, Sheridan, was exiting a driveway in the 3800 block of East 2603rd Road when she struck a southbound vehicle driven by Angela Pokarney, 55, Marseilles. Pokarney was taken to Valley West Hospital by Newark EMS and Delay refused treatment. No citations were issued.
Tequia Bellanger, 24, Streator, was cited at 6:21 p.m. Thursday on complaints of driving while license suspended and failure to dim headlights. Bellanger was given a notice to appear in court.
