La Salle County

Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash at about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of South Main Street in Leland. A vehicle driven by Toni E. Artlip, 27, of Leland, was traveling west on North 4650th Road when Artlip failed to stop at the stop sign intersection. Artlip's vehicle went through the intersection, striking two vehicles in the driveway of 480 S. Main St. along with the side of the house. Artlip was taken to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich and cited on complaints of DUI and disobeying a stop sign. Artlip was issued a notice to appear.

Danielle T. Brown-Pickens, 36, of Streator, was arrested at about 9:50 a.m. Saturday on Route 23 near North 2450th Road in South Ottawa Township on complaints of driving while license suspended and no insurance. Brown-Pickens was taken to the county jail.

Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash at about 7:20 p.m. Saturday on East 24th Road in Manlius Township. A vehicle driven by Keith C. Kinger, 30, of Monee, lost control on the icy road and skidded into the ditch, striking two mailboxes. No injuries were reported and no citations issued.

DeKalb County

Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash at about 2:50 p.m. Saturday at Chicago and Burma roads. Ryan Eppard, of Paw Paw, was traveling west on Chicago and lost control on the snow-covered road, slid into the south ditch and into the field. The vehicle rolled on its side. Eppard was taken to Valley West Hospital in Sandwich for non-life threatening injuries. No citations were reported.
