Plans are to open a new restaurant in the former Commercial Fast Print building, 318 E. Main St.
The Plan Commission will consider approval of a $15,000 facade grant for Beckman Property Management, which bought the building in March and found a new tenant, according to Drew Beckman, owner of the building.
The building has a tenant. The name and the menu of the establishment have not yet been decided, according to city documents.
"They'll have a dining area in front and a kitchen in the back, but the trouble right now is turning a print shop into a restaurant," Beckman said. "They're aiming to be up and running around July of this year."
Additionally, the Plan Commission will consider approval of a $15,000 facade grant for 214 E. Main St., the new location of Wild Hearts Boutique, and former location of Old Stogies Cigars & Barber Shop.
