Forty-three golfers teed off at Pine Hills Golf Club May 18 in support of the Reddick Mansion Association.
“We were very pleased with the community’s support and participation in this first-time event,” said Mary Caba, event co-chairwoman and vice president of the Reddick Mansion Association board of directors. “Despite rain in the afternoon, everyone, both golfers and volunteers, had a great time.”
The team of Chris Oleson, Rob Lehn, Jeff Saager and Jason Saager won the first place cash prize. The second place team was Mark Colwell, Brady Loomis, Joe Nicosia and Kevin Zudycki. Colwell also won the men’s prize for closest to the pin. His teammate, Kevin Zudycki, won the men’s prize for the longest drive of the day. Barb Houston won the prizes for both the longest drive and closest to the pin for women golfers.
“We are very grateful to all 45 of our sponsors,” said Caba. “Their support helped make this inaugural event a great success. We especially want to recognize Scott Anderson, of Cimco Recycling, as our only Platinum sponsor.”
“I also want to give special thanks to the folks at Pine Hills, Starved Rock Golf, Handy Foods, Express Employment Professionals and all the RMA volunteers,” Caba added. “Their donations of time, money and materials were instrumental to our success.”
