A 48-year-old Chicago man was arrested Friday on charges of dealing cocaine on Route 71 near Interstate 80 outside of Ottawa.
Trini Morado was arrested on a complaint of delivering more than 15 grams, but less than 100 grams, of cocaine. He was taken to La Salle County Jail where bond was set at $1 million, meaning he would need $100,000 for release. If found guilty of the felony, Morado faces a sentencing range of 4 to 15 years in prison or $25,000 in fines.
Morado is scheduled to appear in court 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, in Judge H. Chris Ryan's courtroom.
