Ottawa

Elia Michels, 28, Ottawa, was arrested Tuesday for domestic battery and taken to La Salle County Jail.

Brynn M. Korth, 31, Ottawa, was arrested Tuesday for DUI, driving without insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Streator

Tiffany Flanery, 23, Streator, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. Tuesday for failure to secure a child in an appropriate child restraint and driving with a suspended license. She was given a notice to appear in court.

Mark Wargo, 63, Streator, was arrested at 11:51 a.m. Tuesday for criminal trespassing. He was given a notice to appear in court.

A criminal break-in was reported to have occurred at 4:23 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Bridge Street, but nothing was found to be missing.

La Salle County

William Barr, 31, Streator, was arrested at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant for driving with a revoked license. Barr was transported to the La Salle County Jail and bond was set at $20,000.

Shae Hunter, 21, Streator, was arrested at 9:51 p.m. Tuesday for failure to appear in court for possesssion of a controlled substance sentencing hearing. Hunter was transported to the La Salle County Jail and is being held without bond.

Fire Calls

Streator firefighters were called at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday to Vactor, 1621 S. Illinois St., when an employee's vehicle caught fire in the parking lot.

Streator firefighters were called at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday to the corner of Everett and Stanton streets to assist after a two-vehicle collision.
