Frank J. Bradish

Died: August 12, 2019; in Streator, IL

Frank J. Bradish, 68, of Streator, passed away Monday (August 12, 2019) at his home.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery with full military honors conducted by members of the Streator American Legion and VFW.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Joe Bradish, Jett Black, Andy Westen, Bradley Morris, Max McLaughlin and Caleb Bradish.

Frank was born on January 5, 1951 in Streator to Thomas and Eleanor (Belthezar) Bradish. He married Christine McLaughlin on February 28, 1971. She survives.

Also surviving are daughter, Rebecca (Andrew) Westen of W. Lafayette, IN, son; Joseph (Nikki) Bradish of Alabaster, AL; 2 grandchildren, Jett Black and Edith Westen; brother Thomas Bradish of Sarasota, FL; Theresa (Rob) Waltz of Peru, Jeanette (Jerry) Vaughan of Streator, Ina Marie (Jeff) Behrens of Varna, Ralph (Cheryl) Pollett of Fort Worth, TX and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul Bradish and sister Elaine Russ.

Frank graduated from Streator High School in 1970, served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, retired from the BNSF railroad in January of 2011. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Frank enjoyed coaching baseball, softball, woodworking, metalsmith and he was a certified scuba diver.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
