Ottawa

Marcel A. Mackey, 21, homeless, was arrested Tuesday on the 900 block of West McKinley Road on complaints of domestic battery and interference with the reporting of domestic violence. Mackey was taken to La Salle County Jail.

Jonathon L. Monferdini, 43, Streator, was cited Tuesday on the 2700 block of Columbus Street on complaints of no valid driver's license and no insurance. Monferdini was released with a court date.

Justin A. Francis, 28, Ottawa, was arrested Monday at East Marquette and Post streets on a La Salle County failure to appear in court warrant for a criminal damage to property charge. Francis was released after posting $300.

Michael A. Franz, 20, Ottawa, was arrested Monday on the 1200 block of Tower Drive on a complaint of criminal trespass to real property. Franz was released with a court date.

Streator

Brian L. Cool, 44, Streator, was arrested 9:01 p.m. Monday on the 700 block of West Bridge Street on a complaint of domestic battery. Cool was taken to La Salle County Jail.

La Salle County

Roger Siemers, 77, Tonica, was cited 4:15 p.m. Monday on complaints of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident following a two-vehicle crash at First and Pontiac streets in Tonica. Siemers was westbound on Pontiac Street and stopped at the stop sign at First Street. Siemers proceeded into the intersection and struck a southbound vehicle driven by Victoria Walker, 59, Tonica. Siemers was not injured. Walker was treated and released by Tonica EMS.

Fire calls

Streator firefighters responded 11:30 p.m. Monday to a report of a natural gas leak at 1121 N. Bloomington St. Nothing unusual was found.
